2. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical data in log files (IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer URL, browser and operating system). This data is required for the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
3. Contact and contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Form messages are forwarded to us by email. We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Cookies and consent management
We use the “Real Cookie Banner” plugin to obtain and document your consent to non-essential cookies and services. The Gravatar service of Automattic Inc., 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA, may be used to display profile pictures. A hash of your email address and your IP address may be transmitted to Automattic. The service is only loaded with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We only share your data with third parties where this is necessary for the purposes described above (e.g. with our hosting provider) or where we are legally obliged to do so. Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by law.
